Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

I need to catch up with reviews since I skipped last week. Plus, writing reviews will probably my saving grace with all the craziness going on right now. You guys wouldn’t even believe what I’m feeling right now! Ugh..

Anyway, on to the review, I’ve always suffered with dried lips which leads to chapped lips. Not attractive to look at. At all. I’m also the kind of girl that when I feel some skin hanging, you better know I’ll pick it even though I know I shouldn’t. Force of habit sucks because when I pick on my lips, of course it would lead to bleeding and eventually, busted looking lips. So, when I started getting into KBeauty, I know that I have to get my hands on something that will save my lips too. You can have a really smooth and soft skin, but with a busted lip? No can do.

When I joined the KBeauty community on Instagram, I saw how many people rave and love this product. Of course, a lip product, raved and loved of many.. I have to get my hands on it! The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask became my life saver towards the end of last Winter. Ever since then, I just can’t imagine a night going by without using this.

Thoughts:

When I first got this product, I liked the boxing and packaging of it. It’s really nice and elegant. The Sleeping Mask comes in a small pot and along with it comes a cute, little spatula with its own plastic envelope. Upon opening it, I loved the sweet scent of berries. It smells divine and really reminds me of Chapsticks, but better. I’m very picky when it comes to putting on products on my face especially my lips. I always have that scare of putting something on and having it not work for me leaving my skin irritated or worse than before. I had to overcome that fear if I would like my lips to get better. I didn’t go wrong choosing this product and after the first use, I see why this is loved by many. Heck, I can’t live without this anymore!

I always use this at the end of my routine. Whenever you apply this product, a small amount goes a long way. That’s why when you look at the picture, it doesn’t even seem like I’ve used it up. I’ve been using this every night and the results are great. Honestly, I don’t even use the little spatula. I use it more like a lip balm. I never have to worry about hygiene because I’m the only one who uses it. After application, the scent lingers, but it’s not in any way overpowering. The product doesn’t dry out. In my opinion, the product takes a while to dry. When I wake up in the morning, I can still feel some of it, but it’s not sticky. I wash my lips while washing my face and my lips really feel soft and plump.

To make sure that I don’t forget this step, I make sure that this product is on my night stand. Since I don’t use this until before I hit the hay, there’s a great chance I’ll forget about it when I lay down. So keeping it within arms reach is great. I mean, would I be the only one who gets lazy after getting comfortable and then remembering I forgot a step? I’ll keep purchasing this product, maybe even try out the different varieties. If you suffer from dry lips, this product would definitely aid that.

‘Till next time,
