Today I’m sharing with you guys about a new toner. My current toner, which is the Etude House’s Wonder Pore Freshner already ran out! Kind of mixed emotions about that, but time to move forward and give a new toner a try! 🙂 There’ll be a coupon code in the end of this post that you can use… so keep reading! 😉
**Disclaimer: I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review!**
Name: Rire Pore Tightening Fresh Toner
Size: 300 ml
- Pore Total Care
- Intensive Moisturizing
- Balance Care
- Relax Skin
- Control Sebum
I contacted BBCosmetic about doing a product review. In exchange, I received this product since I’ve heard quite a lot about it. It definitely got me interested since it has no paraben, no talc, no mineral oil, no artificial dyes & no silicon. I’ve also seen people using this item. It’s talked about to be a good toner, so does it live up to its hype? Keep in mind, I have sensitive & combination skin. What might work for me could possibly not for you.

The bottle comes in and it’s a screw top. Oh boy! Quite a lot of us are used to using flip top bottles. It’s more convenient that having a screw top. Anyway, the packaging is quite simple. It comes in a clear bottle with the products information on a paper glued onto the bottle. The bottle is sturdy. When I first used this product, I realized that I didn’t shake the bottle- if you look in the picture, it has white powder on the bottom. The scent is something I can’t get a distinct smell from. I feel like it has a mixture of lavender, tea tree extract and definitely clay. It takes some getting used to with the scent. After using it, my skin definitely feels dry- sometimes I have a semi-oily face and it definitely helps me feel like I don’t have that oil. Though, the scent sticks with you even after using it. I noticed that if the toner hasn’t dried, the scent is still there. Maybe I have a weird sense of smell because others actually love the scent of it.
You can purchase this toner from BB Cosmetic. Rire Pore Tightening Toner is available for $12.55, but I have a coupon code which saves you 8%. This coupon code is valid throughout the store and not just for this product! So go ahead, you know you want to use it. 😉

I’m very thankful that BB Cosmetic gave me a chance to review this toner. It’s something that I’ve been eyeing, but was scared since the only bottle available is 300 ml. After almost three weeks of trying this out, I still am not used to its scent. For me, it’s overpowering. It definitely doesn’t dry my skin out or irritate it. It claims to have seven benefits, but I’m only seeing a couple from the seven. It definitely helps my skin control sebum. I feel it moisturizes my face, but doesn’t get to the point that it helps me get oily. I haven’t seen its effects towards black heads. I haven’t had a problem with black heads in a while and I hope it stays that way with this toner. I also haven’t noticed any pore tightening. Maybe because I haven’t given it enough time?
To me, this product definitely helps me, but it doesn’t really get to a point where it makes me wow. Simply because of its scent. It’s overpowering to me and sometimes I find it not irritate my skin, but it definitely irritates my nose. It does what it claims to do, but I honestly think that there are better toners than this one out there. You also have to leave the bottle upside down because the hole is on the smaller side. I’m unsure of what the “powder” on the bottom is supposed to do. Whenever I’m about to use it, there’s plenty of it on the bottom of the bottle that you have to shake it and even then, it doesn’t really dissipate, they just gravitate back towards the bottom of the bottle.
Would I buy it?
For me, I don’t think I’ll buy this after it runs out. I know that there are better toners that perform better and with lesser scent or odorless. Also, this product to me isn’t bad nor good.
‘Till next time,
