Ready for a new review?! This is a review for the AprilSkin Pinky Piggy Carbonated Pack! I was fairly new to the Korean beauty products when I came across this item. It definitely was interesting! Now, I’ve been using this for a couple of months now.. so I thought it’s time to share my opinions on this product.
First off, the packaging is really cute. The box has a little pig peeking out of the box. Though all labels on the side are written in Korean. No. This item does not come close to smelling like a pig. The mask is pink in color as what the outer packaging promotes.

Whitening. Wrinkle Repair. Functional Cosmetic
This product promotes deep cleansing and takes out the impurities of the pores with the carbonated bubbles for smoother and brighter skin tone.
The very first time I tried this product, which was last year, I automatically liked it. The texture is mild and spongy. When you use this, you kind of have to work fast cause the bubbles activate really quick after applying it to the face. After application, the bubbles tickle and tingle.. You might even feel like it stings. You’re supposed to keep the mask on for 2-3 minutes, but I leave mine for 5 minutes. Just a preference. When you’re washing the mask, it is a bit hard and definitely need a good rinse. Once you’re done washing, you’ll definitely notice that your skin looks brighter… but dry. So, keep a moisturizer handy after. Unless you like your skin feeling a bit dry. I now see what the hype is about. This is the same as the Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask. Just a different brand and color. A whole lot of people love the Elizavecca Clay Mask, but I keep both in hand and use both products as well. The ingredients are more pure with April Skin than the Elizavecca since Elizavecca has a paraben ingredient to it.
In conclusion, this is a great mask to incorporate to your night routine. As I said, this dries out your skin after use, so a moisturizer is definitely needed afterwards. But you do see a difference even after just one use! Unless, that’s what happened with me. I love this product just the same as the Elizavecca‘s product. As I mentioned above, I own both clay masks. 🙂 Also, this is more expensive than Elizavecca.
Price: $28 through AprilSkin’s website.
It is a bit pricey if buying within the US, but this is a product I would definitely recommend to those especially with oily skin. Someone who has dry skin might not be a fan, though. Also, to those who are looking for a product that is paraben free.
**Note! I know I did a bit of comparison with Elizavecca, but I will be doing a sole review of the said item above soon!**
‘Till next time,
